Booking Your Program is Easy

Time Needed:  90-120 minutes

  • A PowerPoint presentation is followed by time for tasting the food/drink samples

Fee: $175 for up to 20 people + $2 per person additional materials fee over 20 people

Region Available:  Joyce will travel to anywhere in the Greater Washington D.C./Northern Virginia/Baltimore area.


  • Booking organization must provide screen for PowerPoint viewing and 1-2 tables upon which samples can be placed.
  • Booking organization must screen for food allergies.
  • Joyce will provide all food service items unless other plans are made.
  • Joyce White is certified in food handling by ServSafe (via the National Restaurant Association) and is insured through the Food Liability Insurance Program (FLIP).  
  • All prepared food served in A Taste of History programs is cooked and prepared by Joyce in accordance with food handling safety standards but cooked in a home kitchen, not a commercial kitchen. In addition, the booking organization must disclose to its clients that foods are prepared where potential allergens, such wheat, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, and many other food products, are processed.
